Company Creation Festival

Company Creation Festival (CCF) is a festival of new works generated by ensembles using unconventional means. Four productions are presented in repertory over four weeks in January and February. Projects are selected through a written application. Each production receives 5 performances over two weekends and, in addition to the staff support we provide, may also qualify to receive a small honorarium.

Solo Creation Festival

Solo Creation Festival (SCF) is a festival of new solo works and solo works-in-progress. Nine solo works of 10-45 minutes are selected for presentaiton in stacked-programs. A new program of solo works is presented each week for three consecutive weeks. Works selected will be paired into 90-120 minute programs and receive four performances, presented Thursday through Saturday at 8pm and Sunday at 5pm. To be eligible, your proposed work cannot have had a performance (in any form) in Los Angeles County between January-July of the same year. If you have performed your show or intend to perform your show in Los Angeles County between January-July of this year, we encourage you to submit for next year’s festival.
