Kristen moved from Baltimore to Los Angeles in 1999. Initially confused by its artistic offerings, she joined forces with her friends and helped found Son of Semele Ensemble a year later. She has played the role of production manager on several productions including Melancholy Play, Lava/Breath, American Plan, and Film Is Evil: Radio Is Good. She has dabbled in writing as well but feels happiest on stage. As an actor with SOSE, she was seen in Earthlings, Lava/Breath, Film Is Evil: Radio Is Good and Preludes & Fugues, among others. Favorite productions outside of SOSE include Emma’s Child at the Odyssey Theatre, Edward II with Circle X and Emilie Beck’s And Let the Skies Fall. When she’s not dabbling in the arts, she is working as a Behavior Analyst, who creates and oversees programs specifically designed for children with Autism.
