It is very surreal sometimes to walk by my copy of AMERICAN THEATRE Magazine and know that a show I co-directed was featured on the cover! I am so proud of that show and of my collaboration with co-director Al Sgro. I remember Matt's reaction when we told him he would have to stand still onstage (with red strings attached to his funky glasses) for 20+ minutes before the show began as the audience walked into the theatre...and, of course, it is the picture used for the magazine cover.
