We are two days away from King Cat Calico auditions and I am very excited by the adventure that lies ahead. I have been reading a lot of Anne Bogart, Jacques LeCoq and just a few days ago saw a preview of Robert Wilson's Black Rider at the Ahamnson. Needless to say, I am inspired by the theatrical landscape these artists boldly paint on. I hope we (SOSE) can stretch our artisitc wings with this production and once again challenge ourselves as an ensemble (although we will be having non-SOSE guest artists).

I am also excited by the Theatre de Complicite workshop we have scheduled this weekend with Toby Jones from Complicite. I hope the work we do during the course of the workshop will fuel our artistic engines and inspire us in new and profound ways.
