Black Rider at the Ahmanson

Edgar Apr 27

I saw a preview of this last weekend and it was amazing despite the technical glitches and the fact the play had not been run in its entirety (the preview was the first complete run-thru for the cast!). I can't say enough about this play and I can't begin to describe it and do it justice. Suffice it to say that Robert Wilson pushed the envelope of theatrical possibities and allows the audience to absorb the visual images and be swept away by the emotions they might conjure up. The story seems to be as much a structure in which the audience is free to let their imaginations roam, as it is a linear narrative with plot and characters. And, even so, it is much, much more!

I encouage everyone to see this show! It is not to be missed!
