Ugh. I really should write these blogs immediately after rehearsal but by the time I get home and settle down it is already midnight. These are mighty long days and they only seem to get longer. Yesterday (and we rehearsed during the day so we could all take advantage of complimentary tickets to DEAD END at the Ahmanson - but THIS is a whole other story) we rehearsed Jeremy's monlogue and the two scenes between Michelle and Robert. At one point I felt really uninspired and I didn't have the language to articulate what I wanted the actors to do. Luckily, we ended on a good note and got some good work done.
We have a production meeting tonight and I hope to really be able to see all the design and technical elements coming together.
I am feeling uninspired. Perhaps just leftover residue (is that redundant?).
