We almost got through the entire play tonight...almost. We will definitely finish tomorrow and then do a complete run with all the design elements in place. I am excited to see the whole show. After rehearsal tonight we hung the curtain that Ray got donated from CBS and it looked great! I have to admit being a bit skeptical when I first saw the curtain in the sack it travels in last week. But I think it really complements the set that Barbara has created!
I wish it could all be a bit easier. Not necessarily the production elements but my own life. It would be so great to be able to rehearse during the day rather than at night after already having worked a full day at my day job It would be great if we could hire a crew to build and hang rather than having to stay after rehearsal to help out with this. But such is the life...for now. Any wealthy patrons out there? Ha! On the other hand, I get great satisfaction knowing that my blood and sweat went into every aspect of the production.
I can't get to sleep right away. I feel like the characters in the play. Must sleep. I arrive home and I'm so wired. It takes awhile to wind down. Sleep. Must sleep.
Breath.
